I was lucky the other day to get some new pictures again. The photographer is Paul Smyth. Thanks for taking the pictures. This time we went to Point Walter as the wind started coming from the east now. It seems that the windy season is over now. It is cloudy more often now and the wind keeps coming from the east. Hopefully the swell picks up a bit. Another Kitelife issue will be published during the next days with some nice stuff in it like travel story to Kenya and Ireland plus an interview with Xavier Rudd. Besides that boardway, the kiteschool I work during summer has made a nice teaser worth watching. There is also a bit of footage of me in it. So check it out.
After a little while, I had to look after my knee injury, I could be back on the water. It’s gotten pretty freezing here and uni has taken over controll in my life again. Today I got back on the water again though and it was so much fun. I was a bit scared that I’d crash my knee again. However it seems to be all good and I am so glad to be back again. I made a little video with no major tricks. I hope to get fit again as soon as possible.
Here is the second short video. As we were a bit bored the last week, we built a tiny slider with two bench and a table. It was super fun!! During winter we’ll definitely build a bigger and longer one.
Apart from that, I went to a doctor cos of my knee. I got an injection in it and a new bandage. The meniscus is torn. So, we’ll see how that goes..
