Eventually I am back to Perth. I arrived last night. Actually I booked a flight one day earlier. So I popped up at the airport but the flight was totally overbooked. The airline looked for volunteers who would take the flight a day after. We got a nice accommodation and food vouchers. So that was really easy and a nice day. Unfortunately there was no Fry and Bender on the plane but still a good flight. I slept just two hours now. It’s early in the morning and quite stormy already. So I am super keen on hitting to the water and see all the other good riders who are here at the moment for the Core Slider Jam. I’d better stop now and get a cell phone card and get in contact with my buddy Sci. So I’ll have a lot to talk about and a lot of video stuff to show you the next days.

After a 36-hour-travel I finally arrived back to Germany yesterday in the morning. The flight was alright, whereas this time there was neither Scrubs, Simpsons nor Futurama on the plane TV. How disappointing! Anyway, the first shock was that first my boardbag was ripped open and is pretty torn now and secondly when I had to buy the ticket for the train which cost 150€! At least it was not that cold here and the sun was shining.
Tomorrow will be the first kiting day again here. The water has approximately 8°C. So I am really looking forward this. That’s it so far. See you in thick wetties soon.Nach einer 36 Stunden langen Anreise bin ich also seit gestern morgen wieder zurück in Deutschland. Der Flug war ganz okay, wobei diesmal weder Scrubs, Simpsons noch Futurama über die Monitore flimmerte. Wie enttäuschend! Wie auch immer, der erste Schock, den ich bekam war, dass mein Boardbag weit aufgerissen war und jetzt ziemlich hinüber ist und ich zweitens schlappe 150 Euro für die Bahnfahrt berappen musste, um wieder nach Greifswald zu kommen. Wenigstens war es nicht ganz so kalt und die Sonne schien.
Morgen geht’s dann das erste mal wieder hierkiten. Das Wasser hat geschätzte 8°C. Ich freu mich also riesig drauf. So weit von mir erstmal. Wir sehen uns in dicken Neoprenanzügen.

I’ve been back to Perth now and it is super nice. It’s between 30°C and almost 40°C and we’ve got 30 knotes every afternoon.. Glad it doesn’t blow so much in the mornings. Anyway. I’ve had some super sick sessions so far.
But there’s still something to complain about.. There was neither Fry and Bender nor The Simpsons nor Flight of the Conchords on the plane. At least they had five Scrubs episodes and the Wall-E movie.
Last weekend there was the Kitestock event in Dongara again. I already was there last year. Nice event still and it gave me the possibility to test many kites for the magazine.
So that’s it so far.. I am going for a surf now..Ich bin also wieder in Perth und es ist super schön. Wir haben zwischen 30°C und 40°C und 30 Knoten jeden Nachmittag. Ich bin froh, dass es nicht so krass am Vormittag bläst. Wie auch immer, ich hatte schon super schöne Sessions.Trotzdem gibt es ein paar Sachen, über die man sich aufregen kann. Es gab weder Fry und Bender, noch die Simpsons, noch Flight of the Conchords. Wenigstens hatten sie fünf Scrubs Folgen und den Wall-E Film an Board.
Letztes Wochenende war ich wieder beim Kitestock Event in Dongara. Ich war dort letztes Jahr schon mal. Es ist immernoch ein schöner Event und gab mir die Möglichkeit, viele verschiedene Kites für das Magazin zu testen.
So weit erstmal. Ich geh jetzt mal ne Runde surfen..
