Eventually the wind has died off a bit, so it is possible to go kiting well powered on a 9m now. That’s given us the chance to take some shots and train a bit and learn some new tricks.. You’ll find the pictures in the gallery to have a look at them. Most of them were taken by David Grahn. A really talented Swedish guy who unfortunately has to leave on th 17th of March. It’s so hard to get a visa for permanent residence. So I hope that we’ll get some more shots in the near future..
The cultural part of the trip has been John Butler concert so far. Lately I have seen Matt Gresham again and went to a The Cat Empire concert. That was so so good and fun. Although I was deaf the day after I’d do that anytime again!
The next days we’ll try to get some more shots and go surfing as much as possible. Waves a just impressive for a German flatwater - highest wave is a chop 0.2m - specialist like me.

Hi Mathias,
freud mich der Windgott dir gut gesonnen ist. Man sind das verdammt coole und schöne Fotos. Ich wünsche dir noch eine wunderschöne Zeit in down-under und Erholung vom deutschen “Schit-Wetter”.
Wir werden wahrscheinlich am Dienstag es mal wieder veruschen aufs Wasser zu gehen. Hier allerdings nicht so leicht bekleidet wie du auf dem Wasser in Australien.
